  29.  @MusicWorldWonder  Hahaha! I've never been to "New Yawhk!" But...I did grow up and work on the in the car business (my Grandfather started a new car dealership in 1941). I also grew up with all brothers: A twin brother and two older ones, so I wasn't your stereotypical girly girly (even now I'd rather be in jeans or yoga pants, than a dress... Haha! I started playing sports when I was 4 (co-ed soccer & t-ball), was a quad athlete in HS (soccer, fast pitch, track and basketball: I'm just under 6ft, so I can hold my own), and I played Fast pitch for a little bit in college, but then my Father died from a sudden massive heart attack one night, when I was only 20, so I quit playing and moved back home to be with my Mother for a while. My parents had been married for 33 years, and together for almost 40. They were HS sweethearts, so my Mother was really heart-broken when that happened. She still hasn't ever been on a date. My Father was the love of her life, and so she just couldn't ever bring herself to even date. And unfortunately, this past June, she was diagnosed with early onset of Dimentia (she's now in her 70's). My Grandmother, her Mom, and my Aunt, her older sister, also had/have Alzheimer's/Dimentia, so it's been very tough. (Hence why I was so ticked at Captain Dipshit up above, when he made the heartless comment about Alzheimer's). So... my "strong" demeanor likely comes from the way I was raised, and also what I've been through in life. It would be a lie, if I said it hadn't hardened me a bit...
