  1. I have to say that you can really tell what type of family this was with how they responded after the verdict. They didn't let out any loud cheers or degrading comments towards the officers. They just listened to the verdict and then quietly comforted each other. Yes, you could see/tell their reaction, and even hear some of their comments, but they were respectful towards the situation. This really does show a lot. I'm sure it took a great amount of *self control*, to not shout. Also, for the young men in the car to ask the officer to pray? That was huge... As the spouse of an officer who's been on the job for almost 25 years, I have to say that I'm very glad that This verdict was reached. Although it won't bring back this poor young man, it will DEFINITELY set a presedence for future officers, and what they can expect... IF THEY DON'T ACT ACCORDINGLY! We have to start putting into place, more disciplinary actions, when officers screw up... Whether by accident or not. ❤️
