I don't know if anybody else here watched the other videos, but the fact that this Dr keeps saying that the swelling was caused from a respirator, is just plain crazy, because when she FIRST arrived and had the FIRST CT SCAN*, there was *SWELLING and FLUID (which even pushed the mid-line over).
IF she was already on a respirator, this would've been for not even an hour. Not only that, within an hour of the surgery and the skull was removed, swelling was already happening. The second and the third CT SCAN were done so much closer in time, in regards to the surgery, versus, the 10 days she was actually kept alive on the respirator. I find it very strange that this doctor was paid $7000 and he's trying to say that the swelling was ONLY caused from the respirator and NOTHING else.
Ironic....? Strange....?
I think not!

@t4705mb6
I hate to break it to you, but WE DO exist. Some call me old fashion, or whatever, but having solid morals and values is totally okay. And... Just because we might have great morals and values, doesn't mean we are prudes or anything like that.
You can be a lady on the streets, and... Well, you might know how the rest of it goes.
I've never cheated, but have been cheated on. I don't hold that against ALL men, because now I've found an amazing man with similar ideals.
Lots of women appreciate a great man and only NEED one man to complete them.
Financially, I don't need anything. I own my own home (just under 4000 sq ft on an acre), don't receive child support from my daughter's father (nor have I EVER been given money from him), because I didn't go for that.
I own a construction company (I'm a general contractor), which I opened and started on my own 4 years ago, and now employs 19 people, .
Please just know that we are out there, just like good MEN are out there. It does seem like they are harder to find (few and far between), but they ARE out there.
I hope you find your person.
Take Care, wherever you are.

Very much so. He tries to act like he thinks he's the best and knows everything and all the jazz, yet he completely contradicts himself when he says stuff like "I post stuff on Facebook about my relationship." That's what high schoolers do.
He's extremely Narcissist.
The is such a sad story. I feel so bad for this young lady, and the officer involved as well. I don't think he feels any type of remorse. Maybe about his baby (he seems to feel bad about that), but that's it.
But then again, who really knows. My daughter's father is a Narcissist with sociopathic tendencies, and was extremely abusive. I still have a DVPO against him ( which the judge just renewed for 5 years versus only 1 year, which was usually happening), and in December of 2017, I got my CWP, and a Smith & Wesson 9MM, because I know that a piece of paper isn't going to protect me against a psycho.
It's just so crazy to listen to this guy talk...

Because "YOUR" client is LYING .... Defense Lady.
Heck, your client is lucky he hasn't been convicted of murder in the past... There was a BIG reason he was originally asked to "help," to begin with.
I don't know if this witness said this in this hearing or not, but in Mr. Siever's case, he discussed having asked this Defendant, because "of his past."
Not too mention, if he hadn't already done some REALLY awful things, how would he know to wear hazmat like suits, duct tape, etc?
This guy got life in prison, because he committed a crime and lied, instead of being honest and trying to get a plea deal.
He's lucky he didn't get DEATH like Mr. Siever's did.

@antoniamills3000
I'm sorry, but when you put your trust in a Doctor, it's not that easy.
You are entitled to your opinion, but I can tell you from experience, that when a Doctor is involved, that you don't think about what could go wrong. You are trusting that they will have your best interest at heart.
This happened to me, when I put my trust in a doctor back in 2002, when I hurt my back (herniated a disc between L5 & S1). I had even gone to school and graduated in the field of Personal Training & Nutrition, but...unfortunately, back then, they weren't educating patients (and even as concerned about the affects of pain pills), like they do now. I trusted my Doctor, when he suggested putting me on a pain management program for my back, because I had done and tried everything else that was recommended at the time and was not getting any relief.
Granted, it was before they started realizing all the issues with pain medication, but... I know from having friends also go through this, that if they don't have the best doctor, or support and even insurance at times, that it can be VERY hard for people to stop, once your body becomes dependent on a medication, because some won't have the help with treatment programs, like others will. It doesn't have anything to do with your mind and wanting to quit, when you end up feeling so extremely sick.
It's easy for people to say, "oh just quit," or, "you decided to start it to begin with," but when it's a Doctor whose prescribing medication, it's a completely different story.
Now, with that being said, if somebody just becomes addicted, because they chose to "experiment" with drugs, then YES , they originally made the choice to mess around with drugs (whether illegal, or even legal medication that WASN'T prescribed to them).

The Defense tries to make it sound like maybe the fire department bruised her to or scraped her, but unfortunately AFTER you die, you STOP bleeding and circulating blood, so... Saying that she got bruised or cut (to produce a bloody area), isn't actually possible.
The only thing that can happen with time, is settling of the body's blood, however the body is laying. For example, if they are lying on their back, it will pool towards their back, buttocks, calves, heels, etc. If they are in their side, same thing, and so forth. You'd have thought that this Defendant Doctor would've thought about that!

I'm sorry, but he's clearly an abuser and a controller. Whether she threatened an abortion or whatnot, that still does not excuse his behavior for abuse, murder and attempted murder (or assault with a deadly weapon- whatever you want to call it).
Domestic Violence/Abuse is not okay, no matter what!
If you're concerned about your child or whatever it is, you go to the courts, CPS, etc. You do NOT, take matters into your own hands.
They clearly had a toxic relationship, and he was the one in the end, who ended up making a terrible decision.

@Wilshare
So glad to know her husband actually got the DEATH PENALTY .
That's actually huge, considering he didn't "commit" the crime.
As terrible as his "friend" (Mr. Wright) was for committing this crime (having Mr. Rodgers help), I'm thankful he (Mr. Wright) came forward and decided to be honest, for the family's sake, and for justice to be served.
What he did was HORRIBLE, but what Mr. Siever's did, by lying about his wife leaving with the children, etc., was just a way to get his friend to "help."
His friend "Mr. Wright," wasn't able to see his son for 10 years, so I think Mr Siever's told him that on purpose, so it would almost strike a nerve and help to manipulate him into doing this.
I'm not trying to saying that Mr. Wright did, wasn't as bad, or his decisions/actions, weren't as bad, and we're justified or anything crazy like that, I'm simply saying that Mr. Siever's was clearly trying to manipulate his friend, to get him to do the most horrific ACT, a person can do.
So glad all three people were held accountable.
Prayers to the family... Watching the Mother in the courtroom was heart wrenching.

Right?
This poor little baby suffered. I think about just how I feel at almost 40, when I get hungry or have to go a while without food. The hunger pains, and sick feeling. Even just the feeling When you're alone as well. I can't imagine how this poor, innocent baby felt... Just being stuck in a swing all day. I remember when my daughter was only about 6 months old and she was in her swing in the living room, and her father had trapped me in the bedroom, and wouldn't let me out. She'd started crying and I knew she was terrified because she was by herself. Her cries were so different, than a hunger cry, or wet diaper cry. He was holding me, and I guess my mother's instinct kicked in and I pulled my arms apart as hard as I could to get out of his grasp and ended up punching a hole in the wall with my left fist, then got past him and went to her. Yes, I've finally left him.
To think about what this poor baby went through just breaks my heart.
After listening to one of the first officer's testimonies, this little baby was left in there for a time. His little hands were in fists, up by his face. He actually had bugs/maggots inside his diaper, and when the other officer stayed for the autopsy, he said it was hard to tell where the diaper stopped and the skin started, because everything was so squished and had been on him for so long. I just can't believe this.
Ughhhh...

Sound of Jesus
She should've had legit blood on her hands from holding him on her arms. If I had ever done something like that by accident, I would've done everything in my power to both help that person and comfort them.
She didn't do anything but say a couple words to him and the rest about losing her job.
You know, at first I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Not because she was an officer, and not because she was a female , but because she was human... And I just like to think that people deserve to be thought of as humans and with "hearts."
But...
The more I learn about her, the more I see somebody who should've have had a badge. I hate to say it. It honestly makes me sad, because my Sweetie has been in L.E. for almost 25 years, but some people just aren't cut out to do the job.
Secondly, her moral compass needed some adjusting. Sleeping with married men isn't cool. I think most women would agree that it's sluts like her, that make is women worry...
Oh well, there's a special special for people like her.
We just all need to remember that, one act of Violence/negativity/hurt, doesn't= more.
Just because she was a bad 🍎, doesn't mean that all L.E.O.'s are bad 🍎's.

@mrwdpkr5851
Huh?
How'd you come up with $100/day, when he was in jail for 25 years? That doesn't equal $100. Maybe if there were only 300 days in a year.
I don't know the exact amount of days he was in, but even if you just take
25 X 365
YRS. X Days in a Yr
That totals 9,125 days total.
Then take the supposed total of $750,000 ($30,000 x 25yrs)
$750,000 ÷ 9,125 (days total)
It actually equals $82.19/day
Whether you look at $3.24/HR, or $82.19/day or $750,000 for 25 years, that is just NOT enough.
At least this man isn't 60-70 years old. That would be even more depressing!

@chijen2010
I think what he means is that given his extreme amount of money, he does A LOT more good for the world, than most people do in his position (donating over 100 billion dollars).
Of course his living position, cars, trips, etc., are going to be very different than most regular people, but at the end of the day, what he does for the poor, and the fact that he doesn't just flaunt things like some extremely wealthy people do, speaks to his overall character.
When you're an extreme Billionaire, nothing is going to be similar to regular people, but at the end of the day, he doesn't live his life flaunting it. He's a very private person. There are always going to be people, though, whose goals are to find the cost for trips, cars, etc. It's not like Bill Gates is posting things about his lavish trips and shoving it in people's faces.
Also, how is Bill Gates responsible for the overpopulation in third world countries?

@michigan1291
I completely agree.
I just firmly believe that it's not right to blame or point fingers at somebody like Melanie, who didn't even live close to Lori. It wasn't as easy as people think, because she was in a totally different state at that time. She even spoke about how her "friendship" with Lori had changed and that she wasn't as close as she once was.
I guess I just try to think about things both ways and also put myself in her shoes and think about things from her point of view as well.
I don't think it's okay to say she's guilty of something.
I think that's wrong.
Can we learn things from this horrific situation? ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!!!
I'm just not going to be like some and say she's a terrible person. It's obvious in her interview that she was going through some changes herself and trying to figure out fact from fiction.
We can all look at it and go, "WELL DUH!!! THAT WAS ALL FICTION," but unfortunately some people want to believe that people are good and especially that their "friends," are ESPECIALLY good people. It can take some real soul searching and talking with others, which she talks about doing, in order to finally realize that you were screwed over, lied to, used, and all those terrible things.
People are entitled to their own opinions on this, I'm just personally not going to say she's some horrific demon person, like LORI & CHAD (and very likely Alex), are.

His on again off again girlfriend/ baby mama helped hired him, to kill her "then" boyfriend's sister's ex-husband, because she wanted to relocate and couldn't because of their parenting plan.
It's a super F'ed up case, but basically in the end, the second Hitman that was hired, narked out this guy (his childhood best friend), in order to tell the truth and get a deal (19 years, but he didn't actually pull the trigger, this guy did).
The family involved, still hasn't been indicted either.
The brother and ex-wife (Charlie and Wendi Addelson) should BOTH be indicted for Conspiracy to commit murder. So far they are lucky, but hopefully their time is coming. And the MOTHER in-law as well.
I honestly don't think the father-in-law was involved. I do think the 3 were though.
Otherwise, the hitmen, NEVER would've been connected, hired, and PAID $75,000

@ErikS-
The prosecutors DID do an excellent job in this case. They proved that both Siever's and Rodgers were involved, and what their "parts" were.
In a lot of cases the person who decides to be honest first (if there is one), is going to get a plea deal.
It does seem unfair, because he was one of the people who actually helped commit the crime, but... Siever's was the person who initiated ALL OF THIS, and without his actions and decision to be honest, this never would've happened. On a side note, I also believe that Siever's capitalized on Wright's own history of not being able to see his son for 10 years. I'm sure that had a great affect on Wright and feeling like he was helping Siever's from having the same thing happen, since Siever's had concocted quite a story about his wife and what she was evidently going to do (eventhough Wright testified that it didn't affect him with his decision).
At the end of the day, when Siever's was first contacted by law enforcement (and even knew about everything coming to light), he could've come forward and spoken up himself, and possibly ended up with some sort of a plea. But instead, he chose to lie and act like he knew nothing and had no involvement. Even going so far as to pretend to cry, etc.
At the the of the day, just because one of the parties ends up with a plea, that doesn't mean that the Prosecutor did a poor job. It actually shows their skills, by doing what they did, because in the end, they have a greater chance of prosecuting EVERYONE, and not just one or two of the people.
With the Prosecution agreeing to a plea for Wright (which can ALWAYS he revoked if he doesn't do what he's obligated to do- tell the truth, etc), they were able to Prosecute everyone. And eventhough Wright ONLY received 25 years, he's 50 years old, and if/when he gets released, he will be over 70 years old. Also, eventhough Wright didn't receive life (or even death for that matter), he has a lot of health issues, and could likely pass away in jail before his sentence is finished.

@vetzaaak
Let me ask you this, do you think that reporters on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, etc., research EVERYTHING they discuss? Or do they get a topic, transcript, words fed to them, etc., during airing "the news."
People seem to forget that a lot of times, journalists/reporters are literally fed "stories" on air and are supposed to read them. Many times, they aren't the ones looking into the stories, but rather reporting on them, only.

@paulap799
Uhmmm... If you think that people don't refer to us as "AMERICANS," you need to go back to school...
Brazilians, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Canadians, AMERICANS .
WE are called Americans and others are called usually by their country (with the exception that some people might say Asians instead of Chinese, Philipinos, Chinese, etc., or Europeans for the same example of French, German, etc.) Saying that people don't call us Americans is RIDICULOUS!

@aigaoliveira3278
Just an FYI... please keep in mind, that when you make ignorant comments like that one, that you're truly offending us actual SURVIVORS/VICTIMS of DV & SA. Many of us aren't "rabid cult followers," we are SURVIVORS & VICTIMS, who went through what JD did, and were able to put the pieces of the puzzle together, as the trial went on... following the evidence, like the jury did.
Lastly, keep in mind, that the majority of us, aren't even huge crazed super fans of Johnny Depp. Just because we liked him in a movie, doesn't mean we are obsessed with him, like "some" of his fans are.

She was a drug addict.
Hannah spent the first 92 days if her life in the NICU you, because that evil mother, decided to use Heroin. If it weren't for being arrested and going to jail (where they put her on methadone to make sure little growing Hannah wouldn't go through withdrawals), Hannah likely would've died in her mother's womb. The fact that she comes to color now crying about her child is a complete disgrace. I don't end to hear about addiction and how difficult it is (I KNOW- I was prescribed pain pills for 4 years, not knowing what they were doing to me, and the affects they would later have on me). This mother was on methadone, she didn't have the excuse that she needed to continue getting high. She could've stayed on the methadone treatment, stayed clean and off Heroin, and been a part of Hannah's life.
I hate to sound heartless, but in all reality, if she hadn't abandoned Hannah, and had actually been there for her, she wouldv'e been helping take care of Hannah and most likely wouldn't have EVER been in the hands of this evil monster. She should've be there for her! It's very clear that this father did everything he possibly could, to provide for that little girl.

You need to watch the the hearing and the full testimony of Chad's Mother. I thought the same thing originally, but after following the case and listening to the hearing each day (and the over 2 hour testimony by Chad's Mother, plus even Chad's testimony, and others) my mind was changed.
I firmly believe that Erica was the driving force in this. I believe she manipulated Chad, his Mother and even her friends (who she shared details with), that the children would be put in Foster care, so they felt they couldn't say anything, or the children would suffer.
Not only that, but Erica admitted to feeding GC (Ashley's daughter), feces, and even defecating on Ashley's Grave. Plus, in the recording she even admits to putting feces in GC's food, says that she doesn't feel bad for what happened to Ashley. She says she feels bad for her family/friends, but doesn't feel bad for her Ashley at all... Even going so far as to say that she doesn't even feel bad for how she felt at the end of her life. WTF???
There's so much to this case, and all I can say is if you have the time, start from the beginning of the hearing, and watch the entire thing.
I'll link a page that would help.
Would love to continue conversation, after you've watched some of the hearings. I always find it interesting, to know what other people think.
Take Care
