Probably telling the Judge that they'd have to cut off your finger, to get you to talk (when you did that to your Mother, right before you murdered her), is not the best idea.

@sharon932 Just because the inmate may have actually the read documents, doesn't mean that he didn't tell the truth when he testified. It's very likely that he DID read the paperwork, but also spoke with Hartung, and that he was truly disgusted with what he did to his Mother and wrote to the District Attys Office.
