@jennifers.3818 I agree with you. The fact that test people think that Gypsy was in on things with her Mom was just crazy. She was a victim since she was a small child. She was forced drugs and different treatments that nobody should Ever have to undergo. Munchausen syndrome is a HORRIBLE illness. I could never imagine going through what Gypsy went through. I firmly believe that she felt that she had no other option than to have her Mom killed. She was trapped by this woman and couldn't get away. When she was caught she was chained to her bed and beaten. When she'd tried to get out of her wheelchair in the past, she was beaten. I think when people say that she was "in on this," that they truly have NO idea about the magnitude of what Gypsy went through. This story is so incredibly sad. If only she was able to get away and somebody was there looking it for her Maybe we should use this story as a learning experience, because if we think that the is the only case like this, we are ALL crazy for thinking that. I think that any child, who is "chronically" ill, like Gypsy supposedly was, should be talked with by a social worker regularly (WITHOUT THEIR PARENT PRESENT).
