@mrwdpkr5851 Huh? How'd you come up with $100/day, when he was in jail for 25 years? That doesn't equal $100. Maybe if there were only 300 days in a year. I don't know the exact amount of days he was in, but even if you just take 25 X 365 YRS. X Days in a Yr That totals 9,125 days total. Then take the supposed total of $750,000 ($30,000 x 25yrs) $750,000 ÷ 9,125 (days total) It actually equals $82.19/day Whether you look at $3.24/HR, or $82.19/day or $750,000 for 25 years, that is just NOT enough. At least this man isn't 60-70 years old. That would be even more depressing!

@karizmacharles4510 First, you do know they he DIDN'T serve 25 years, but actually 18, right? Just wanted to inform you, because it looks like you thought it was 25. No JUSTICE AT ALL with this case!

@samwestfahl5355 Eventhough to some, that likely sounds like a lot of money, it truly isn't, when you think about it... LIKE AT ALL!!! I'm pretty sure that people would agree that $30,000/year to be in jail, isn't even close! Horrible! He better get more!

@Clinty727 Just an FYI Steven Avery did NOT get $18 million dollars. I'm not sure where you read that, but he tried to Sue for like $36 million and in the end, because he was on trial again and needed money, he settled for only $400,000. Also, he may not have committed that last murder, but Jesus Christ, the things that guy has done are revolting. Who throws a live cat into a fire doused is gasoline, just to watch it burn to death? That's so freaking twisted and demented. I DEFINITELY think there's something wrong with him... That's for sure!
