She should've continued to say she wanted one when the other officer came in and reminded her about her Miranda rights and the RIGHT TO AN ATTORNEY with that she didn't say she wanted one and kept talking. That was her bad.

@elstongunn4277 All she has to do is ask. By law they have to give her a phone to use. The fact that she had a cell phone doesn't matter. It just made things easier for her to make a call (had she wanted to originally). If she asked and wasn't granted bring able to contact an attorney law enforcement would get in huge trouble. She chose to not call even after the other officer came in and asked her and clarified things. She kept talking.

@luv_that_chichi1425 People don't understand how this part works... Obviously! 🙄 Not to mention, why would somebody defend somebody who was abusing an innocent child

@elstongunn4277 They have to allow her to get those things. Eventhough there are some Crooked cops, there are still some very good officers. She also stated herself, that she wouldn't even know who to call in tears to an attorney, so she'd basically need a phone book for that. In regards to getting her phone back, she just needs to ask for it, because the volunteered it, out was taken with a court subpoena.

@gaelcrane8008 Exactly! Then after she said she wanted one and the other officer came in she agreed to keep talking, but continuing to talk and not saying no sorry I would like to call my attorney.
