  2. Nuclear energy, whether splitting or fusing atoms, remains insane. The chances of catastrophic harm, failure and millennia of toxicity are too great. Costs and risks are too great. Unless “new” methods resolve these, it is insane. Alternative energy is cheap, available and efficient. Conservation works too.

  3. Start planning for optimizing a decreasing and older population. Incentives for mere growth will create many unintended consequences.
