  5. I'm an American 85 yr old man, wife recently died . Worked a summer job in Alabama , Birmingham ,1960 . You could buy a loaf of bread then for 10 cents , sometimes gas for car about 15 cents . We have had a LOT of inflation since then . Actually in 1955 I bought gasoline for 11 cents a gallon. In High School I worked a job for about 9 cents an hour and went to school and worked . People used to call me work ! Has anyone ever thought about lowering the cost along with the pay to just back this insanity down instead of always up ??? Did u know back in the early 50's You could actually buy things still for a penny ??? The people in Canada , the workers are just like the workers who still are willing to work here in America and so workers need a job !!! I pray we can get it more fair for those who do work hard for their money ! I think President Trump is seeing things that are not so fair for America and he wants it to be fair ! Try to work things out someway fair ! This from a guy called Work a long time ago. Even today, I managed to not fall while I painted the GRATES on our 1967 Sears Kenmore kitchen stove ,made by the REAL QUALITY ROPER COMPANY that still make the GE Brand . Our stove was made by ROPER still works fine !!!
