Not sure if it’s a majority of Canadians that are on board with this annexation proposal, however the idea of a union or a bilateral trade agreement between the two countries has perked interests on both sides. There’s still a lot of sour Canadians that resents us Americans, but generally most Canadians like us but still are prideful of their nation. Ideally we should wait to see to give Canadians a chance to fix their country and we’ll go from there. If they’re able to bounce back, fantastic, if not, we’ll see what solutions we could provide to help out cause their state of deterioration does affect us too, like the high chance of another country using Canada to be a platform to attack us. That is concerning for both countries and is ideal if we get Canada back on its feet. At least the Canadian people are observant enough to recognize a lot of their issues are self inflicted and have the means to correct it, unlike some of our other allies who always use us as the scapegoat.
