As another centrist, I am going to say this: I don’t think you nor many of the left understood exactly to the extent of this entrenchment of the left policies that it became an ideology. The fact that you’re ending your paragraph saying that turns out “the left are just as misinformed as the right” means you have much more to learn about the indoctrination. I’ll start by saying this, the right NEVER lets a news channel be their only source of information, nor do they ever put up with anyone telling them what to think or do. They make the effort to hear what others have to say and if they can learn anything themselves, but generally they do deep research into their principles than the left ever gave credit for.
Most of the right has certain values that mainly are about the American Constitution and honoring it. Some might have other parts that play into their mindset like faith and religion, but the right treats the American Constitution as if it was a shrine. With that, most of those on the right actually does their homework on their own time to study it, and to learn the history of the country to understand the importance of the principles the Founding Fathers, and others over time, had hoped for in this nation. There is a real lesson when you actually study the events of what led to the US separating from the British Empire, specifically, to never let ANYONE believe they can control your opinions. The moment you let anyone think they have that power, it is going to be a big struggle to regain your life, just as we are witnessing currently in the political arena and in our culture.
The left on the other hand has played their cards to convince society to let them handle all of the problems, giving the illusions that they are saints who care about the people. The last Democrat who actually believed in giving people the choice to be a part of creating a stable society was JFK. Nearly every Democrat since then has campaigned on acting like their Presidency will be the solution, end up doing more harm to line their pockets, where as a good percent of Republicans went opposite and wanted to allow the people to have more of a say in those solutions, not all candidates of course.
Once you understand the difference mindset between the left values, that government should be the solution, or the right, the people are the solution, it’s easy to see which politicians was able to take advantage of which mindset.

To me, the damage has been done. My issue with certain leftists is there is no discussion on their blind spot, everyone has one which is why the 1st Amendment is what defines Americans to allow them to achieve their goals, we first have to acknowledge our advisory and work on it. For all of the propaganda till now, the right at least made the necessary efforts to reform its identity. Many are not perfect, but at least there is a real conversation with the right than those on the left. Until the Tucker insistent 😩
The left are smug, they kicked the country down when the average American was crying for help. Within the last generations the middle class has shrunk, and every time a Democrat is in charge it keeps shrinking!!! The left has proven they don’t want to help the country but want to remain in control over ALL of our lives, not just Americans. Whereas the right, the basis is they just want to be left alone to do their own thing and accomplish what needs to be done. The supposed white knights like Ana and Bill Maher aided the left, and they are now complaining as if figuratively speaking they are surprised the horse escaped when they were the ones who opened the gate! After everyone who is not of the left told them to stop!
With that, I will at least mention at least 1 member of the former left TYT who never believed the crap the left was trying to spiel. Admittedly I won’t agree with him always, but we have to give credit to is Jimmy Dore, for he is of the few left commentators who actually sees everything for what it is. For the last 7 or so years he understood it was never a left and right clash but a power move by the establishment. Dore is not a Trump supporter but he acknowledged the supporters to visited his channel and never belittled them like everyone else did. In fact, he UNDERSTOOD why people turned to Trump and sees that Trump wasn’t the big picture in the mess like the msm wanted everyone to believe. He was of the few lefts who actually questioned the propaganda of the Russians diabolical relationship with Trump, and he tried to warn everyone it was a hoax news story to destruct the American public from being scrutinized themselves! He is someone who I think I could trust with my back,if let’s say there was an apocalypse, not Ana. Ana has a long way to go, but I will say acceptance is a good first step. The issue is that she was heavily a part of destroying our country from the inside and only is now coming to that conclusion when the effects of her decisions are now affecting her!
