Californian here, one who never fell for the leftist’s lies and had to deal with being called the racist for a long time. People like Ana and Destiny are why California is in shambles. The so called “tolerant” never listen to the concerns and deflect it as some label problem so they can point and virtue signal. I remember getting into a viscous argument with a family member about the concerns of the homeless community over 10 years ago, how they were not the typical poor homeless person, but they were transients who purposely expected society to provide everything to them, give into their substance addictions, and to just take what ever they wanted. I live in a poor region that doesn’t have the luxury to just hire more cops, even though our community has appreciated our local law enforcements. And of course the typical response is that I had NO idea what I was talking about even though these transients were EVERYWHERE and there were alert groups on FB that tried to inform the community what was happening. And guess where this family member of mine got the information to her argument? From a university campus an hour away! This family member taught me a lesson that no matter how hard you true to present the facts with the evidence, they will NEVER listen till it happens to them directly. The issue is that this family member has kids and I do fear for them because of their parent not having the hey observation skills to discern a person with good intentions versus the ones who are nefarious and they showed it the whole damn time.
