I have to give credit to a lot of gays, most of them genuinely wanted just the chance to live in a society where they can be with who they want to spend the rest of their lives with. As a Christian former libertarian, I never understood the stigma gays gave gotten and while there are parts I might agree with the set up of gay marriages (marriages is seen as a religious sacraments and commitment that is to help build the structures of a family and there should be a practicality of having a balance of both the father and mother be present to raise their children), if they are able to make it work then I am happy for them. Personally my interactions with gays is most of them are good hearted people who are in an unknown avenue paving their way that has caused stress to the other members of the LGBTQ community, yet they have a reassurance with themselves to just focus on being a good person and many of them are mortified that what should have been used to make them happy is being weaponized among anyone the left disagrees with and wants to stigmatized whomever questions the narrative. I want many gays who are not happy to practically be used like this and tend to be the first to vocalize this serious matter. It does break my heart cause they end up getting stigmatized again but by their “allies.” To me, I’d rather just focus on being a friend with the individual than to route being an “allies” as these radical people tend to be the ones who makes the problems worse and it shows they really don’t care about the people involved but the optics to virtue signal.

@heroncolby2842 That religious “dogma” is about how to have a community where people can grow in character to live amount each other. Notice how now that Christianity has been stripped from American ideals, there is little trust among each other? Society is facing a collapse? The lack of unity? Real unity, not the dogma of the left for “tolerance.” Christian’s do have much to improve, that is why they attend church to learn to improve themselves for spirituality and to form a prosperous society in harmony.
