@nicholyse The way how Zelenskyy addressed to Vance was no where near the warmth of grabbing a beer with a friend. I don’t know which situation I’m more mad about, how he disrespected our country, our president, or our vice president. Yikes for all of it!

You knocked it out of the park Jesus, brilliant analysis and it was well deserved to wait and then to watch for just shy of 2 hours. Very grateful for your take and it highlights exactly why it is necessary to look at the big picture. To us Americans, Zelenskyy is the nutshell of the European’s attitude towards us, doesn’t mean we don’t have allies that are like friends, but this attitude is something that Americans are fed up with. Very proud of both Trump and Vance, as Americans we have been targeted as a scapegoat by so many of our “allies” that our former presidents and vice presidents laughed about it, so it was reassuring to see both sticking up for what great office represents, and very proud of how both defended each other. It was suggested by a YouTube video I watched recently called To be Frank, how he broke down what the details were revealed like what Marco Rubio stated in his defense of the president that this was something they were working hard up to that point to find an actual solution. Kellogg was sent to help Zelenskyy come to an agreement and warned Zelenskyy that if he disagreed with this treaty to not show up at the White House but to find other REASONABLE alternatives. Obviously Zelenskyy ignored it, seeing his personality on full display, he can’t be reasoned with when he has EU bureaucrats nibbling in his ear. In the meantime Rubio has been having continuous talks with Ukraine officials, it appears everyone but Zelenskyy was on the same page, I feel horrible for the Ukrainian ambassador witnessing this unfold. Anyway, recommend you check out Marco Rubio’s interview he did shortly after, even check out Brett Baier’s interview with Zelenskyy that evening. Zelenskyy is doubling down he wants us Americans to pick a side when we are just trying to not add more tension. Apparently the right excuse for us to step away, and Zelenskyy I don’t think realizes Trump was looking after him and Ukraine more than his pea brain can comprehend. Good luck Europe.

@christopherharwood1164 Sadly, it is still our burden as Americans who are the superpower. Even for those who didn’t vote for that puppet, we have to own this happened on our watch.

To me, I think Vance is the genuine deal. It was said that he didn’t expect this position but it was Trump that made it and Vance asked him if he was sure. And to see him stand up for our friends in Europe and the Brits who have been silenced, and this, I say as an American patriot he is a keeper.

@emerald637 Ironically as an American, I’m not that bothered by his attire at the White House, it would have been nice to dress a little more formerly as a sign he was ready to end the war, but it showed his real thoughts he didn’t really want the war to end. What I was more cheezed off with how he was dressed like that for Notre Dame though. Our office represents the American people, the Notre Dame is an actual sacred site, he should have had the manners to at least dress up for such a momentous occasion. Even a simple button up shirt would be something.

Funny thing is in the US, if your bank card accidentally gives you more money than what’s in your bank account and you spend it, you then get fined and have to pay it back. I think that is what Zelenskyy is facing at the moment.

I can’t imagine the self restraint every one of those men had witnessing Zelenskyy to not only try to make a fool of Trump, but it got really ugly the moment Zelenskyy acted like Americans haven’t tried to help the whole time. Each of those men love this country dearly, and we Americans in return are so grateful they stood up for us as well as having each other’s back. Truly refreshing to see Vance defend both the American people and Trump, Trump has been through the wringer for the past decade, just nice to see someone gave his back. And same with Trump defending Vance too, all of them made me feel so proud they represent us. For years we’ve had representatives that laughed and mocked us Americans, and laughed with our so called allies at the American people. It feels wonderful to see people in these high positions who will no tolerate any of this, after going through this for decades.

⁠ @annahale1187 I’m amazed how long each other those men held themselves back, and then it just continued to escalate when it was said we would feel the effects and our military will fight in their war. That was the moment every time everyone had hoped Zelenskyy would stop, was the breaking point.

Personally glad that this happened cause it exposed the fraud Zelenskyy is and why I have always distrusted him. It validates we should not make any agreement with a weasel (which is the best description of him without getting too degrading.)

What’s alarming is we were told we gave Ukraine over $350 billion but Zelenskyy said he only received ~$170 billion. How are we supposed to be okay giving away more?

@CatsInHats-S.CrouchingTiger He was on a mission to basically chain us Americans with our military to their country, and a lot of us Americans are not having it when it seriously looks like he and too many Europeans are provoking Russia for a fight.

⁠⁠ @annahale1187 I’ve been neutral with Rubio, but appreciate the work he is doing. And I have to give credit to Collin’s, not a fan of her myself and she did try to push back, but Rubio maintained to keep her in focus of what a serious matter this is that she just let him explain the whole events. It was appreciating to see this, no more stupid dogmatic circling around, just asking questions and listening. Same with Brett Beiar’s interview with Zelenskyy how he managed about 30 minutes with a very frazzled egomaniac man who was shown the way out of the White House and still gave Zelenskyy a chance to navigate himself out. Ironically the praise went to Brett’s journalism and not so much for believing Zelenskyy. Especially Zelenskyy doubling down on wanting us Americans to pick a side.

To think the 180 our country has had in leaders, for too long our leaders looked down at us while a growing number of our allies mocked and laughed at us. To then suddenly have leaders who not only won’t stand for it, but humiliate those who try to trash our country is a whip lash of shock to realize for once we have leaders who actually love our country. I’ve always love our country, been proud of being an American with the one exception of what happened in Afghanistan, generally appreciate our country. Man, that moment they made me feel REALLY lucky to be an American that they are fighting for. Proud they are OUR leader. OURS.

Pretty much caught on to Zelenskyy’s act in the first few months, it helped to not get carried away with the hysteria. As an American I have made efforts to be as knowledgeable as possible to different situations around the world and to me it just didn’t sit right to follow every narrative. Then again, a lot of countries underestimate how many Americans were taught to question authority. Don’t get me wrong, we have a lot of brainwashed people who think collectively that fell for this narrative. Generally though there is a trait of being objective that was passed down in our culture, mainly preserved by American conservatives.

@Tulsa_Time Trust but verify 😉 At the same time, we have to balance to put our leaders in check when needed, yet know when to allow them a moment to be human to improve themselves. Personally just appreciate of Vance, wasn’t exactly sure of what to expect, but I say he is outperforming my expectations of any VP. Plus, as a millennial myself, I am happy to finally see someone in my generation be a part of shaping the future of our country. It’s been long overdue, and as much as I resent my generation, Vance to me for once has made me proud to be an American and be a millennial that is for once not these desperate attention seeking divas. Plus he is inspiring to witness defending our values, it’s refreshing and I say Trump did us a favor picking Vance. Hopefully, in time, Vance will carry this movement to heal our country and strengthen it. To me I am looking at this as watching what potential we have for the future after Trump if all goes well.

@ If you actually look at this objectively, the west too has broken these treaties. The difference is Americans will at least own up to it, but this madness needs to stop cause what Europe is asking for us to participate in is the start of WWIII. We don’t want to be a part of it.

He’s basically asking what arrangement we have with the Germans, and looking at how this has enabled the Germans to socialists, I think most Americans are not interested in replicating this. Wish it was a situation that would be more like Poland, the same country that understands what it means to step up and not be a leach but a value asset as an ally.

Exactly why us Americans have lost the love we once e had for Europe, we still have friends and other countries that are like family. But this continent is being run by those like Zelenskyy that want to weaponize us Americans as superpowers and we cannot tolerate this.
