Personally never understood the relevancy of Tik Tok, while I can watch some short attention span content, I feel like I'm wasting time and not being productive. The only time I appreciate short videos, let's say 5 minutes or less, is videos with instructions of diy projects (like cooking, gardening, how to fix an item, etc), cute animal content, or music videos. Sometimes I'll listen to someone ramble, it's not always something I go out of my way to look for, but I appreciate the videos that are 10 minutes or longer depending on whether I want to multitask and listen to something that can at least let me be productive while I can learn something in a video.
In many ways my comment demonstrates this, sometimes too simple is not enough.
That said, I am mixed about this bill, I do believe we need to be vigilant in maintaining our country's welfare which also includes it's security, but we do need to be careful how this bill could backfire on us like a lot of bills that have been passed with good intentions, aka a innocent promise yet is deceitful in having a can of worms of problems. The trust in our government is low, the CCP has major issues it's creating, however our government is still trying to play games of putting the party and the lobbyists before the welfare of the people. While it is practically a miracle that the majority of both party's are for once agreeing this is a problem, can't help but be skeptical of everyone's stance on why they are taking the measures to either defend the bill or oppose it.
Our country has thwarted a lot of balanced people to be in these elected positions to have a reasonable approach to fix these issues we are facing, probably wouldn't be facing half of these problems if we didn't have these extremists in charge for too long. While China is now carrying with pride their wolf facade with zero remorse they come across as aggressive, the issue is that a good portion of congress and other politicians are wolves in sheep clothing trying to still trick the rest of us they are nothing but innocent lambs.

I think the Netherlands is one of the few places in Europe that is trying to have a tech industry, however, China has had the worst habit of stealing tech plans, turn it around selling it at a cheap rate, and flooding the market with these stolen tech. Right now the Netherlands is seeing how they could make the chips for the computers to make sure all of our sources are not just in Taiwan, along with the US, yet the Chinese have felt threatened by this. To my knowledge the Netherlands is one of the few smarter countries in Europe that is trying to cut off interacting with China thanks to their divisive attitude in the last few years. Of course it could be more complicated thanks to being in the EU as the EU is NOW shifting their gears and trying to prevent more interactions with China, they already are in deep cause the EU refused to listen to the US and East Asian’s warnings about continuing to collaborate with China.
Good example is Hussein having access to many European countries that even the UK is dealing with it, and Germany made the huge mistake of taking their car manufacturing to China and now half of it is in China, many were in denial and didn’t bother to move their manufacturing anywhere else.
On top of that, China is trying to flood the markets in the EU and the US EV, the US at least is able to curb this as we slowly stopped further collaborating with the Chinese with enough time that it is in our favor. I see other countries in the future in Europe (Italy just put in someone in as prime minister to halting their part of the train initiative to prevent getting in debt to China at their expense) probably drop their approval polls to China, the issue is that a lot of damage has been done and it’s because the EU wouldn’t listen to the warnings and red flags about the type of partner the Chinese can be under the CCP.
Geopolitics is going through some interesting times!

You do realize both of these guys used to live in Chiba for over a decade, married Chinese women, tried to assimilate the best they could but we chased off by the CCP? If you actually look at most of their older videos, they were recording their conversations while motorcycling through the Chinese countryside, mostly of how much they loved the Chinese but highlighted what it was like living there. I was one of their early subscribers wanting to learn more about the Chinese culture and they had some great insight. But because they happened to have filmed one location that was apparently off limits for the CCP to like, the CCP doesn’t like the countryside to be filmed without their instructions, they targeted mainly Lao (he’s an American) that they had to escape. As someone who watched them early on, I witnessed the transition of them able to enjoy living in China, to being chased out.
Since they fled, a lot of their old friends still tells them insight of what is really going on in the country, likely in hope the rest of the world learns more details about behind the facade of the CCP Chinese.

@BoycottChinaa Honestly it would be nice to work with the Dutch, however I have been wary of certain Europeans lately because they have not done their research and have looked at us Americans with disdain. That is not an ally I want to collaborate with if they don’t trust us or even do their part to learn they actually don’t know the US beyond the stereotypes. I think we might have a good shot with some of the Scandinavians because they have at least admitted they don’t really know the US and many of them are able to take a step back and do their proper research. Germany it’s a mess, I swear they have gotten their information from CNN which has been a huge propaganda machine that twists the facts that no matter what we tried to warn them about the mistakes they were making, such as insisting Europe can take a huge load of migrants of a different culture and they could assimilate into the continent with no problem at all. I think there are some Germans who are waking up to the mess they are in, however many are more interested in pointing the fingers at us Americans for the consequences of the decisions they made. There are some who are now realizing their role in NATO has likely made us Americans more mad to work with many Europeans and are now doing some actual research, some are taking it in but they still have a lot to learn, like they have a hard time with the concept that Americans are not as fake as they projected us to be. They actually call a fake smile the American smile because they don’t think Americans are honestly that happy all the time.
Poland I think is the few that gets American’s perspective, I think many of them are upset with how Americans are second guessing NATO yet when you see how many countries have hindered Europe’s stability and how they happen to be the ones who don’t contribute their fair share of defense spending, I can see a lot of Polish sadly feeling like they are being abandoned. Which further infuriates me cause Americans adore Poland, I bet if we did step back from NATO we’d still do our part to give as much support possible to Poland and some of the other former Satellites states that have kept their promise. I think there’s been a confusion in communication but likely if the information does get straightened out the Polish will understand what Americans mean by the fact we are not happy with NATO.
The French are clearly going their own direction, I think they understand the US has a lot of our plates and they are taking the necessary actions to save their unknown empire as they apparently still have colonies that they are slowly losing support from. Most of the Mediterranean countries are the ones who share more positive view of Americans however their economies are not the best right now. I think it likely has to do with a mixture of brain drain, lack of families leads to declining population, their society is not very productive (could be said of other European countries, sorry guys), and a lot of bureaucracy in Europe in general that has prevented some of the Mediterranean countries to provide their share of defense spending.
Then there’s the UK going through their own self identity crisis, which makes me sad. I know we have tried to give the British a few chances to work a way to interact more with their economy but the British kept rejecting our offers as their regulations are strict. One comment I saw from a young British person that really highlights the inner fight the British are going through is that this Brit views more similarities with Europe than they do with Americans. In many ways I can understand that as they are on the same continent, they had at least 40-50 years working with the Europeans, and it has resulted our interactions with the Brits to be limited. Many of the older Brits and those in the British military however have had experience working with Americans to find some common ground, it has contributed to why our relations are that of family. Many Americans adore the Brits, no matter the insults they throw at us (with the exception of them touching our 2nd amendment as there is a history we are touchy with the Brits thinking they can take that amendment away), however it is not equally reciprocated. I think there are more Brits though who know Americans in the most balanced way compared to most countries imo, yet to many Brits we are not seen as if we are the child of the British empire, or siblings, or cousins, but we’re kinda placed in distant cousin territory where they don’t have that connection, and it honestly makes me sad. We also have the issue that the British as so strict with their regulation that any tech company Americans try to help grow ends up being closed.
So to find a European country we can collaborate with is trickier lately. We might have a chance with the Irish, but the Irish are not as vocal about wanting to get involved with the weird times we are in, which is understandable. Perhaps we might collaborate best with the Scandinavians, get over the hurdles of social barriers to see how it goes. Of course there’s Poland, and some of the other countries, overall though there’s a valid reason why we want to throw the towel. To me the Dutch are very similar to how they view us Americans to how the Germans have viewed us, I think more time will tell. By all means we are happy to work with others, yet we are at a point where we are tired of having allies who don’t treat us like partners and put all of the responsibility on us with little work on their part. We’ve been burned by those who we thought we could trust, such as China, so we are more interested working with those who know we are on the same wave length of priorities and values.

Certain cultures over time have implemented taboo to eat certain animals that actually helped the household. The animals who tend to be the closest companions have historically had a practical role that it was more valuable to keep them alive, such as dogs were the guard dogs either defending the home or the farm animals from predators. Over the years the bond man had with dogs evolved to other essential roles such as a hunting companion, assists with emergencies, and currently many are used to aid the disabled. The other is cats as cat are essential to combating rodents that can ruin a harvest if cats were not there to keep them away. Horses varies, but specifically English speaking countries hold high regard for them as they were the ones who took us into battle, there is therefore a bond of deep respect that has lasted well over the years we stopped using horses for battle. I think the last time they were used was in WWI, so over a 100 years ago. Horses also had the value of being your transportation, so it was impractical to eat horses when you need the transportation and a way to carry the wagon of goods at a great distance.
That’s not to say that other farm and live stocks don’t have the same value, however most of it tends to be more related to marketing, such as cows could be eaten but there is more worth in certain cows to be milking cows. Then there’s chickens that could also be eaten but most people prefer to use them for the eggs, they can be very important to having a healthy landmass if properly allowed to roam around and scratch out manure from the other animals to give air to help decompose to help creative fertile soil. Goats could also be eaten but they have great value in their own milk and if you have property that is well overgrown with vegetation goats are excellent at countering this. With the sheep they have been more valuable for their wool than to be eaten but they too can be eaten.
The only animal really that doesn’t provide a marketable value to counteract eating is pigs, pigs provide nothing to market off of unless it’s bacon. The one value pigs have is to counteract wasting extra food material and they can help give nourishment to the earth.
Also, I think its impactful for the animals who have shown to be able to be house trained enough to keep your house clean will gain favorability over the other animals. Dogs and cats have demonstrated their intelligence to learn this so that will likely get them to interact with the owners more and create a deeper bond.

I’d also say their wolf warrior diplomacy has backfired when they genuinely thought they were above everyone else. That was the last straw for many foreigners trying to work fairly with China, so it started a large boycott, and it encouraged manufacturers to stop producing in China and just relocate with an area they can actually collaborate with. On top of that, the manufacturer workers were getting to a point they expected more payment, and the cheap sources of labor was the prime reason these foreign businesses went to China. Now that AI is advancing to likely help businesses tighten their employee numbers to streamline it, there’s little need for them to look to China. With that, many in the West were not happy to hear about their free labor from the concentration camps, aka slavery, just because they were Muslims.
To top it off, the new middle class families were forced to have one kid with their hopes and dreams that child could go on to have a high education and work their way to a higher status in life, like doctors or the tech industry. Well, the tech industry has dried up, and the CCP expects these newly graduated students to return back to manufacturing. So there’s that conundrum.

Americans gave the Chinese a chance, we were happy they were progressing, only to realize that it was just the CCP that was strengthened at the expense of everyone, Chinese and Americans combined. We lost our middle class with the belief that at least we were helping the Chinese get out of poverty!!! Our hope was that with the advancement of China, the Chinese would start to rethink about being in a communist run country, we taught them the ropes of a free society, and while there were millions being lifted out of poverty, it honestly seems like they did zero reflecting about improving their society. They continued with having the CCP take control, corruption is never addressed, they ruined ancient villages for bragging about metropolises with empty ghost cities or worse tofu construction, people are sent to concentration camps to silence the critics, they turned a good percentage of their country into a waste dump and pollution has greatly affected their waters, they’ve stolen and resold our tech, they’ve bullied our tradesmen, and they are performing a genocide to the Uygurs. The way how they handled the pandemic was the last straw.
The last decade they have proven to be backstabbers, we have no interest in collaborating with them again. We were not the ones who ruined the alliance, they did.
