On top of that, the manufacturer workers were getting to a point they expected more payment, and the cheap sources of labor was the prime reason these foreign businesses went to China. Now that AI is advancing to likely help businesses tighten their employee numbers to streamline it, there’s little need for them to look to China. With that, many in the West were not happy to hear about their free labor from the concentration camps, aka slavery, just because they were Muslims. To top it off, the new middle class families were forced to have one kid with their hopes and dreams that child could go on to have a high education and work their way to a higher status in life, like doctors or the tech industry. Well, the tech industry has dried up, and the CCP expects these newly graduated students to return back to manufacturing. So there’s that conundrum.
