  1. I’m from the States, but even we know that the English has some gorgeous countryside and the villages are considered quaint and ideallic. Perhaps a little romanticized, but the notion that the countryside of China is supposed to be better is a joke. We’re comparing one country that is known for green pastures, local pubs, beautiful rivers, beautiful buildings in each different section, to the country that over polluted waste dump when the government is actively tearing down historical villages that gave the countryside a history of the culture of the region. It’s likely that there are some parts that could be lovely, only if the CCP wasn’t involved.

  2. I feel horrible for the South Koreans, I’ve heard it gets bad there too. Also with Japan but they get a distance if a sea to get some breather breaks. Can’t imagine how the North Koreans are fairing.
