I really enjoyed your perspective on the trip (at least the flying aspect of it). I think it's good to keep the airlines honest in their policies and there is no sway either way considering they did not pay you or offer you free flights for this review. Great job, I'd like to see this again if you get another vacation!!

I have a feeling ANY aircraft used or owned by Russia has a fate of never being able to fly again legally in ANY other country. Those plane are ALL lost to Mother Russia.

In the States, I fly Frontier. Yes, it's a budget airline but it's almost ALWAYS a direct flight (other than anything from the east coast past the Rockies, there's always a layover for that due to fuel requirements I believe. Otherwise, NO HUBS other than 1 or 2 for Frontier so it's SO easy to jump on a plane 2 3 hours tops and you're there. No stopping after maybe a 45 minute hop, wait an hour or 2 then take another 45 minute hop. That's a 5 hour trip you do in 2 for like 39 bucks. Yeah

Why do they do that? If 2 out of every 10 ATC positions are empty right now, wouldn't that mean 1 in 5 positions are open? I don't get why news people do things that don't make sense. We ALL went to school and learned math. 2/10 means 1/5, you ALWAYS find the least common denominator. That really annoys me.

I'm thinking there's a phrase used in English at least, to 'blow the whistle on something' whatever it is, that's sounding an alarm and drawing official attention to a problem. I.E. whistle blower.

Isn't Hydrogen what caused the Hindenburg disaster? Probably not a great idea to put hydrogen in an aircraft. Just saying! edit: ha you get to this at the end of the video. And yeah, planes do carry tons of kerosene and it's not a big deal, however in an accident well actually they hydrogen in a cell would probably end up being safer if the cells are drop resistant.. Still it leaves a bad taste in the mouth thinking about it

Imperial measurements for the win. Metric system, there's just no real way of knowing, and Celsius is SO inaccurate! It's like nowhere NEAR exact. 0 -1 00 to go from freezing to boiling?? Whaaaaat? We have 180 degrees from freezing to boiling in Fahrenheit!

Very interesting (and convenient) for Spirit to have multiple competing companies in the SAME industry, having differing experience including I'm sure HIGHLY classified information on not only product engineering and design, but the technology in creating said tech. Amazing considering now Spirit could NEVER be re-acquired by Boeing, how could they?? Wow..

Do you realize, though, how fast time goes by? To know the newest forms of batteries and energy storage to use electric engines in aircraft may be anywhere from 10 - 20 years away. The progression of information research and scalability from supercomputers to manufacturing technology is just insanely fast. I think we are less than a decade away from energy storage that will possibly equal what's need to hold back the power of the sun, we are SO close. SO close.

Great point about the pants.. unexpected, but true.

You would think if the plane went into a loss of input after maybe 2 or so checkpoints or waypoints on the nav system it automatically drops to 10k ft altitude to at least try to get anyone to wake up, or have a depressurization notification to the computer to do the same.. How hard could it possibly be to add that code to the autopilot?

Frontier is ok. The seats are kinda not great, almost like folding chairs, but for a 2 hr flight they're really not bad. Especially for 69 dollars all in.. yeah

Very nice work, and I don't think an hour which is closer to 15% with a 5 or 6 hour time difference really doesn't seem worth the billions and billions of dollars it would take to make the small change. However, without coming up with the idea and taking patents from that plan, it did help us move forward with even better more intuitive ideas today. Great work on the story!

What a shame these Climate Terrorists in the world's governments are DESTROYING the world as we know it all due to LYING about CO2 and the likes.. what a shame the amount of lemmings SO dull in the mind, they truly believe the lies of the terrorists. What a damn shame.

Interestingly enough, and people seem to have a hard time understanding this: the word 'contrails' has the root well, it's not the root but 'con' as in 'condensation' trails.. like yes, contrails are WATER vapor. Hmm.. maybe it's chemicals to seed clouds or control our minds. Probably not. Those wouldn't be contrails, that would be seeding

I'm not as worried about the loss of controller's jobs, I'm more concerned about the move relying more and more on technology controlling the air above my head. I live in the busiest air corridor in the world as far as I know (I'm just south of the big 3 NY airports and I have the PHL to my west, TTN just to my west as well. We have planes at ALL altitudes above my house at all times of the day. I remember how weird it was when covid started how QUIET it was outside.. I couldn't put my finger on it for almost a week, then I looked up and realized the ONLY jets in the sky were the ones flying to McGuire.. Yeah we have an AFB right here too.. it's VERY busy above my house and I would rather people with eyeballs controller my air traffic.

I remember flying the Janet mission on the old Microsoft Flight simulator : )

Sounds like theft.. (the beginning of your story)

There was so much innovation back in those days, back when we had drive to succeed and make a better future with new horizons of technology and implementation. Nothing like today

In the US government, when a law or rule gets passed, it never goes away due to the emotional and financial things it took to get it passed. It NEVER goes away in the US govt. after that!
