I am having a hard time telling if Sandy is impressed over here now at the hot stamping station, It's a tough read on him, he's, Sandy knows his material.. he knows his metals and his engineering.. he's a damn tool maker, he knows this inside and out, and Tesla has COMPLETELY flipped the script on him, but I am having a VERY hard time realizing whether he's impressed or disappointed. I just can't tell..
edit: ok.. about 25 minutes in or so I realize now Sandy has seen all this, maybe not this big, but this isn't exactly the impressive part.. I think up the ramp and over the top, how they fit the stainless, that's what he's interested in. I think the fact that the steel is 1 on a custom roll (custom doesn't matter but) but it's raw.. bare.. unprotected. I've been around, and almost EVERY finished product face has a blue clear or white film across it.. no questions.. That, I think, is part of his hesitation.. HOW do you keep fingerprints - or ANY other marks - off of stainless finished product WITHOUT protection.. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see
