  1. My theory is the whole YouTube demonetization trap is unavoidable. YouTube desperately needs money (it always operated at a loss) so it snags up ad revenue from channels that made the website great. When YouTube was small, it lured in content creators with lots of ad revenue cash. Now that creators are established, YouTube takes that money for themselves because they know creators won't quit. It's never been about "advertiser friendliness". YouTube just wants your cash. It's just easier for them to take it from political or edgy channels. But promoting TYT helps their ESG score, so they don't target them. It's all horrible BS.
