Populism is rising because democracy is failing. We've all been raised to believe that our governments are supposed to serve us. We vote and they work in our favor. That's supposed to be how it works. But it doesn't and we all know it. Our word means nothing. Our countries are being driven by people who don't represent us. Our leaders do not want the common citizen to have a say. They admire China's CCP rule. That's what they wish they could be. And yet they lie to our faces that they're protecting democracy. The more they lie, the worse their problem gets.
