  1. M1 Garands kicks more than they show in movies. Every WW2 rifle uses some sort of "battle rifle" ammo, equivalent of 308 or something. I actually shot a guy's M1 Garand at a gun range and the kick caused the metal charging handle to snap. I felt really bad lol
