  4. I don't know. China typically copies the old school Soviet style of 'lie about what you have and try to appear strong', rather than the Western style of 'Keep quiet and appear weak'. Maybe the Chinese wanted the sub to be photographed and the body is a facade. I'm not saying we should underestimate them, but China just got caught copying Intel I3 processors and claiming they are their own and using prerendered Unreal Engine assets and claiming it was some AI program. China is not as advanced as everyone fears.

  18. I'm glad that we're trying to support Ukraine, but I can't help but feel that the whole of American foreign policy in the last 100 years has been an absolute disaster. It never turns out well, it wastes money, and everyone ends up hating us. Maybe it's time we're honest with ourselves. This isn't working.

  21.  @johnsmith1953x  My comment was pointing out the fact that this isn't about a land bridge to Crimea. They already had that in 2018. It's called the Kerch Bridge, sweetie. Russia clearly wants to control the entire country, and they're failing at doing so.

The moment we run out of money, the world will turn on us and/or we'll eat ourselves out of pure ignorance. It's funny, if you use a VPN and visit one of their defense contractor websites, international side shows doves and space travel, but if you switch your IP to a Chinese one, the website changes to more explosions and missile weaponry.

  33. All of this info comes from what China claims? Have you seen what China passes off as "AI technology"? It's insanely hilarious and cringy. I can't imagine their tech being effective if what they're bragging about isn't even AI and instead 20 year old TTS software and Unity assets. China's greatest talent is tricking the world that it's strong and not the house of cards that steals everything that it actually is.
