@suckadoesstuff7095 I'm by no means Pro-Confederate, but when a video is titled "What it was like to be a civil war prisoner", they should show attrocities on each side. Because there absolutely was and trying to hide that or omitting it is irresponsible and revisionist.

Next do Sherman's treatment of POWs ;)

Sherman literally made Southern POW march through mine fields

@simicmagic4806 No, it's not. The title of the video is "What it was like to be a civil war prisoner". Look at the title. Thanks.

@Cavsfan02 and slave owners were a minority. About 20% of the US owned slaves. VERY doubtful the average Confederate soldier who couldn't afford a new pair of shoes could own slaves.

@Cavsfan02 No one is sticking up for the Confederates. We're sticking up for the truth. If you want to be ignorant and force fed revisionist history, I suppose that's your problem.

@JerBuster77 Do you not see that you would be stooping to their level by supporting that? You act as if you are morally superior yet you're just as bad (if not worse) as those who believe in slavery.
5
@Cavsfan02 Yes. Ignorant. You're incapable of believing there were war crimes done by each side. Moral superiority does not excuse war crimes either.

@Cavsfan02 Hahaha now you're mad because you have nothing. You attack me for my age lol. Google "Sherman's March to the Sea" and get back to me. There are rarely any "good guys" in war.
5
@Cavsfan02 says the guy who claims Southern soldiers owned slaves...Lol

@simicmagic4806 I'm not a video. Tha nks.
3
@simicmagic4806 It's not included in the title. Thanks.
2
@simicmagic4806 Doesn't matter. The title doesn't have that camp in the name. So the video is about Civil War Prisoners. My point stands. Thanks.
2
@totallyfrozen No, you're 100% wrong. Sherman deliberately forced Southern soldiers to march through mine fields. Everyone accepts this fact. Research before you try to lie about history.
2
@simicmagic4806 But it's not named that, so it's not about that. Thanks.
2
Sue Taft No, he didn't. Not during "Sherman's march to the sea". He literally forced captured enemy troops to march in front of his columns to trigger landmines.
