  1. Americans call that type "sandwich bread", which is typically what we use for quick sandwiches. Our grocery stores have Bakery sections where you can buy different types of traditional breads. This guy decided not to show that for some reason.

  2. Dude, you're in the Sandwich Bread aisle. Most, if not, all US grocery stores also have a Bakery section. I do agree the US doesn't make great bread, but you can EASILY get better than Wonder bread and you know that.

  4.  @sluin  Well, true. Still though, they're typically baked that day and there are a huge variety. I'm from a small town in the US and there are a handful of strictly-only Bakeries within a half mile of me. Some are even Amish or Eastern European specific. Bread is like beer, cheese, or chocolate. It's easily found in the US, you just have to look for it.
