Regarding Globalism - those who benefit are wealthy and political elite in the first world, and the poor in the third world - at the expense of the poor and middle class of the first world. Those who support Globalism aren't negatively impacted by it. The leftist urban types, support it as it's sold as a humanitarian form of governance and in some ways it is - but there is a large portion of people who lose out and are frankly ignored by their leaders and instead are called entitled or whining. These issues aren't solely economic either. I'd say a big reason Populism is becoming popular is because a lot of people aren't being represented or feeling heard (after decades of being taught that's how the system works). These unwise rulers can try to delay the movement all they want but it's going to happen whether they want it or not.
