I would visit ANY part of the UK. Well, I'm interested in the regular people of Britain. So I might go to London once, but that's it. It's probably like here in the US - I went to LA once, and I'm never going back there.

I'm also American with a strange fascination with ex-Soviet countries. I think we have this view of a "hidden forbidden land" that piques our interest. I want to visit the UK and Ireland, badly. I know the Brits make fun of us but I consider it my ancestral homeland. I have to visit atleast once.

@danielsimpson5687 it's similar to the US in that way. People tend to be warmer/friendlier in small towns. The Deep South is probably the most religious and armed part of the US and they're known for their friendly and hospitible behavior, so I wouldn't worry. My mom is originally from there, so we visit family on occasion. I once went to the grocery store for food and a complete stranger talked with me for about a half hour while I was shopping and gave me all sorts of cooking tips, etc. Completely alien to me but it just reminded me how down to earth some people can be.

"Look! An old SYRIAN mosaic!"

Dude, I love British people. Straight up no BS - tells it like it is 😂

@NicholasWarnertheFirst Hahaha true, the banter culture hasn't really settled here in the US fully. Some of us seek acceptance too much and end up hurt when the Irish call us "Plastic Paddies" hahaha I've been vowing never to be one of those Americans who say "I'm 1/64ths Welsh/Irish/etc!". I just want to drink a pint with the locals and do as the Brits do.

I couldn't live in a socialist country. Because they would, without a doubt, execute me.

@engineeringvision9507 Yeah, that's a large part of it but LA doesn't feel like it has a soul or character. San Diego is nicer imo. I think I would avoid London because it would feel too familar. I also didn't like New York because it felt too familar. I'd rather visit the smaller villages. I feel the same way about Japan also, another country I want to visit.

As a local Floridian, I'd like to meet a local Cornish person so we can both complain about tourists.

I almost shit my pants when that kid stepped out from that abandoned clubhouse

Anytime someone challenges me or confronts me, I'm just going to confidently say 'Why Not?'

Anyone know the name of the background music playing at the beginning when Bald is explaining the history of the Buran?

I think if we all pitched in and paid the Sun to point at Britain for a few hundred years, we could help our brothers out 😂

Jesus, the guy from Angola...that's heartbreaking

Hahaha those marines quickly corrected you when you called them "soldiers". What were they doing out in their dress blues anyway?

I had a friend who was from Bulgaria. That's it. That's the comment.
