  1. I've always heard the "Centrist Big Brain" argument about South Park, but the apathy one is a first. I'm a huge fan of the show (I've watched every episode) and they absolutely are political and take a stand on issues. Their overall theme tends to find the humor in all factions. Because there absolutely is. Some Leftists believe their opinions are objective fact and to disagree with them is to disagree with reality. That thinking alone is worthy enough of a lampooning. Because making fun of someone who is so determined in their beliefs is hilarious. It teaches us not to become zealots and think for ourselves. Zealotry is never a good thing, even if for a universally good cause. People who don't get South Park need to look at themselves, because they're most likely part of the punchline.

  14. My home is 4 miles away from where Milton hit. Everyone I know has experienced some sort of crazy story and/or damage. We helped each other. Many people come from surrounding states to help us. Florida state government helped as well. I've known one person that stayed in a FEMA camp for 8 months after they lost their home, but that was years ago. Other than that, I never see FEMA around helping us. My neighbors and family help me. FEMA thinks it can hold this support over our head 😂 My community always helps me. They aren't FEMA. They won't abandon me for my political beliefs.

They believe there is no truth but power, and couple that with their oppression heirarchy - they truly 100% believe that identity is more important/valuable than overall quality of a candidate. They live 24/7 in this twisted world that they think the rest of us play by their rules. So in their world "Kamala's identity is superior, so she will win". When she lost, it shattered their worldview. Reality hit them so hard that it broke them. They aren't crying because Trump won - they're crying because their worldview fell at their feet.

  27. I agree that postponing the election is a stupid idea, but Bush introduced "Presidential Directive 51" in 2007 that would allow a president to halt processes in the event of a crisis. Not sure if that includes elections though
