The GOP needs to convict Trump. They won't. They need to expel members. They won't. They need to say what is a lie and what's truth. They won't. The insurrection had masterminds that are elected officials. They won't admit it. It will be messy. But our judiciary will hold. At the end, democracy will prevail. Trump will be found guilty of crimes. And enough will abandon them, so that the GOP self-eviscerates. However - it might be messy, and America might pay a steep price for its freedom. Again.
