  1. The answer is their economy is not based on decades of education but natural resources. Because of that they could transition their culture to a more secular style without losing women having a lot of children. Simple as that. Political and psychological(culture) stability didn't lower birth rates.

  4. Darwin's problem was he used absolutely irrelevant ideas to predict something. Aka he looked at species replacing species, and overlooked humans being all humans just with different knowledge.

  6. Though I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea that natural selection changed a bit of the brain of populations, but the brain is far more flexible to overcome that.

  8. Also based on one article European population in the north has European birth rates. And the north in general had it higher because of immigration from the south and non Europeans.
