@awkwardniqaabi bruh, Buddha's teaching is not a religion, but there are religions based on Buddha's teaching. Buddhism as a religion the only "religion" people learn from no matter who they are.

It's all about people. Christianity started as a super kind religion, but with time human qualities made it a monster to be used to abuse, especially in the worst of times - the dark ages. People grew up and developed. Islam also started relatively well, for example science was highly developed though it still had barbaric garbage in it. But the real problem is Arabic culture which is really harsh. And there was not transition to being development mentally in many Islamic countries, only economy.
