You haven't shown the data to support your one sided argument. The demand is higher in societies with inequality, but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist outside of them, it's just more aka additional reasons. We all kind of know people who are stressed about their status will try to show off, but even rich people want status. Some maybe will satisfy it with price of clothes or yachts or their own "true" luxury brands which don't show the logos. Your video really focuses only on one side of the equation to fit your storytelling.
