  1. Nobody minds a black MC: Black Panther, Django Unchained, etc. Even changing established white character to black is not a problem: Spider Verse. But when you have the baggage of Disney, when you specifically cast another race for the movie with the sole purpose for race change...people are not dumb, they will notice.
