  1. A warp drive may not be impossible, but a warp drive that allows you to move superluminally sure looks impossible. If it were possible, it would force us to completely rethink the foundations of physics. It's hard to imagine how relativity could be correct in a universe where you can go as fast as you like, since it would imply you could travel back to your own past.
