  1. 9:28 If Rayleigh Scattering of a photon is inversely proportional to the fourth power of its wavelength, then why is there "about five times as much scattering of ultraviolet light as there is of visible light in the middle of the spectrum"? Assuming we are talking about the geometric mean ("middle") of both the visible and ultraviolet spectra, the visible wavelength is more than 8 times the UV wavelength. How are you getting 5?
