  1. The second law of thermodynamics is also time-reversible, as it emerges from reversible laws. It predicts both that the entropy in the future and in the past of an isolated system are at least as high as its entropy in the present. The fact that this is not what we actually observe is a result of the unusually low entropy boundary condition of the universe at or immediately after the Big Bang.
