  1. The Junior Mints thing is silly because it's so trivial, but the company's response has been a little inconsistent. They say that the slack space is there to protect the candy, but they use the same size box for their "XL" Junior Mints, so that doesn't really hold up (unless they are claiming their XL Junior Mints are unprotected). There might still be justifiable reasons for their packaging, but the most likely explanation is that the larger box is more attractive to customers. And if they're trying to attract you by using a larger box than other brands with the same quantity, that is at least a little misleading.
