  1. I don't understand how Cohen made an in-kind contribution to Trump's campaign. It seems to me like he offered a service to Trump and charged him for it. He facilitated a secret hush money payment and in exchange took a $60,000 bonus. That's not really a "gift" is it? I don't understand how the law is being applied here.
