@laartwork "The only evidence was a single glove and bloody sock that somehow he left despite cleaning his car and clothes and making it to the airport."
You are right that it wouldn't add up if that were the only evidence. However, there was also DNA evidence showing that the trail of blood was a mixture of Simpson's, Goldman's, and Browns. And this "trail of blood" wasn't just one sock and one glove. It was a literal trail, and also included bloody footprints (with a sole pattern unique to a single brand of shoe fewer than 300 of which existed on Earth, and which Simpson was photographed wearing), outside, the door, INSIDE HIS CAR (yes, this was presented at trial), a separate trail from the house to where he had parked his car, a glove, and a pair of socks.
Simpson's gloves also matched fibers found at the scene, and his hair matched hairs found in the victims' clothes. Fibers were also found on them that matched the color of shirt he was wearing that evening. Fibers from a 1993 Ford Bronco (the same year, make, and model as Simpson's car) were found on both victims.
There was also quite a bit of additional circumstantial evidence, including the timeline, Simpson's lack of an alibi and changing story, his flight from the cops, and his long documented history of domestic violence against Brown, including statements from her making it clear she feared for her life.
And there was more too, including a lot of testimony, but suffice it to say that whoever told you about this case left most of the good stuff out.
