@thewanderingmistnull2451 Also, crocodiles are pretty rare in Florida, with a total population of only around 1,000 or less. Alligators are relatively common, with a population of around 1.25 million in Florida alone and another 3-4 million across the Southeast. So if you see a crocodilian in a Florida suburb, and you can't tell which it is by how it looks, it's still statistically almost certain that you're looking at an alligator.

@juliadandy6019 And gharials are the ones that look like crocodiles drawn by an artist who has never seen a crocodile.

17:02 The Supreme Court can hold trials though, like it did in Georgia v. Brailsford. It just generally chooses not to. That said, I don't think it can hold criminal trials except those involving diplomats (ambassadors, public ministers, and consuls), and I don't think it ever has done so.
