@johncrowerdoe5527 If we suppose each purchased disk is watched an average of twice by an average of two people at a time, for a duration of two hours, we get 8 hours per disk, which is generous but I think not unreasonable. There were maybe 250,000 players sold, so if we figure the average person who purchased a player bought 10 disks (which seems stingy, but remember how short the lifespan of the format was), we get 80 hours per player for 20 million viewer hours.
Technology Connections currently has 45,458,667 video views. His average video seems to be about 20 minutes long. That's about 15 million viewer hours. So unfortunately, Technology Connections is not quite there yet. But give the channel another year, and it will beat the entire CED format.
