  1. Jackson is the capital of Mississippi. The Governor's office is at 550 High St., Sillers Building, 19th Floor, Jackson, MS 39201. Apparently the Governor's office is too high up in the building that he could not see what is going on in the city directly beneath him. The Mayor's office in Jackson City Hall is at 219 President Street, Jackson, MS 39205. It is only 3 stories tall, so the mayor should be able to see the street. Of course both the Mayor and the Governor vision are impaired by shared congenital Cranial-Rectal Compaction Disease, so you cannot really blame them for their inaction and lack of planning.
