  1.  @chadclemen  If it goes down in a ball of flames, at least the people would know who shot it down. Once they are on record, they could not provide cover for themselves and their their lip-service if they actually voted against it, Democrats as well as Republicans, then you would have a better idea who to vote for in the next congressional election. If they vote against Nancy Pelosi and she does not become Speaker of the House, then at least one grifting corporate war-mongering "master legislator" has their power significantly reduced, since she will not be loading committee assignments with corporate shills.
