  1. Win win. Medicare for all would get a vote. If holding Medicare for All as a condition of voting for Speaker and Pelosi caves and allows a vote and it does win, great, if it doesn't then the representatives cannot hide behind empty promises in the 2022 elections. If Nancy refuses, she does not get the votes for Speaker and she loses the Speaker-ship, no speakership, no power, in essence cutting her own legs off.
