@octaviotapatio2026 "...millions of them do not provide enough to stop these blackouts." The blackouts in California were caused by private companies mismanagement of their infrastructure, the same as Texas, and had nothing to do with the effectiveness of solar, wind, coal, petroleum or even atomic sources.

@octaviotapatio2026 I understand you point about the Green New Deal will not solely solve the energy crisis, but your supporting arguments had nothing to do with the effectiveness of policy. California does not have an energy crisis, the blackouts and brown-outs have nothing to do with power production, but with the distribution infrastructure not being maintained (and manipulated by the power companies). Texas has an even bigger problem as the greed of the private corporation to maximize profits at all costs of not properly weatherizing the power production facilities lead to the breakdown of the inadequate infrastructure as well.
