Those people who you think "don't understand it" just might have experienced private equity firms buying up business loading them with debt, selling off the assets, bankrupting them and then closing the business they have worked for, taking away their means of income (money, in case you don't "understand") ...and this is just one example of that. So yeah, it is theft. Massive theft. It's kind of incredible.
