@nathanwadekillebrew386 I keep hearing this argument, but it is pure bull. Enron collapsed and would have collapsed without short-sellers. Pretending that the short-sellers "uncovered" anything is ludicrous. Wall Street knew exactly how the company was mismanaged and to what extent. It was in pain sight, the same as the subsequent and future financial collapses. The only thing the short-sellers did was to make a profit on them for themselves while the economy tanked.
