Since there is no decline in production at the source, including crops, livestock, dairy, crude oil, and natural gas, I would suggest first looking at price gouging in the Wall Street commodities and futures brokers, petroleum refiners, energy distributors and food processors, in that order.

The government does not raise the prices. Wall Street and the corporate commodities brokers do. You know, the ones that received trillion dollar bailouts two years in a row and are shooting for semi-annually..
