  5.  @justtryme2020  I don't doubt it since I have family in Alabama. The gas prices have nothing to do with the Keystone pipeline though, since it is Canadian oil from the tar sands in Alberta to Port Arthur and exported out to other countries. The pipeline is just a spur of the existing main completed pipeline anyway. If I didn't know that the Oil companies were honest and ethical, I might suspect them as using the Keystone pipeline as an excuse to price gouge.

  6.  @justtryme2020  Yeah, I understand your points, I just find it weird the prices are increasing out of proportion in specific areas and not so much in others, although they are increasing all over. Regarding the unrest in the middle east, the US brought on the instability in the region and should get out as none of the countries that the US has occupational forces in wants them there. It is a waste of young American bodies and resources that could be better used at home, to say nothing that nearly 10-20 years of continual bombing does not allow those countries to stabilize in the first place. As far as the shutdown of the economy, whether you agree with the lock-downs or not, it was criminally mismanaged at every level and to say the resources were misdirected is an understatement. Anyone who was in government in 2020 was complicit in squandering any resources to solely benefit of the wealthy and big monopolies record profits. Not one of them should have been reelected.
