Unemployment rate and unemployment statistics are two different things. If you are no longer eligible to receive unemployment insurance, you are not considered as unemployed in the official statistics. That's what Mr Clemens meant when he said, "there are lies, damned lies and statistics."

@seankrezanoski6840 Hey baby, might I suggest you cut the bullshit. The company I work for just put the SALARIED staff on a 4 day work week with a 20% pay cut. SAME work in LESS time for LESS pay AND asking to cover temp and hourly workers duties to cut payroll. It appears trickle down is working. The way it was intended. Booming economy my ass.
